Jersey Sponsors of All Participating Teams for the Asia Cup 2025 ft. India

Asia Cup 2025

Just a few weeks left for the Asia Cup 2025 to commence, the Indian cricket team faces a huge dilemma. The newly passed government bill to ban all types of real-money online gaming platforms caused the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to officially end its sponsorship with Dream11.

So, the Indian cricket team’s jersey that featured the Dream11 logo since 2023 will not be used for the forthcoming tournament.

While other participating teams like Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Hong Kong, and Afghanistan hold unique sponsorships.

Let’s take a look at the primary sponsorship logo on all teams in the upcoming 17th edition of the Asia Cup.

1. INDIA: Sponsor-Less After Dream11 Pulls Out

Recently, the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha cleared the Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Bill, 2025, to ban all online gaming platforms that pay real money. As a consequence, Dream11 not only suspended its paid games but also discontinued the 3-year deal with BCCI for INR 358 crore.

India’s jersey, imprinted with the Dream11 logo, will not be worn. Therefore, the BCCI will have a tough time finding a new sponsor before the tournament commences on September 09.

So, there are fewer chances that a new sponsor will take place, and this could become the first time for Team India to participate in a big tournament without a main sponsor’s logo on its jersey.

2. PAKISTAN: Pepsi

Since the 1990s, Pepsi has maintained a long-standing partnership with the Pakistan national cricket team.

In 2020, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) extended the deal with the reputed beverage company for one more year. As per the reports, the deal continued to be extended beyond a specified period.

PCB’s collaboration with Pepsi sets an example for other teams to follow consistent sponsorship practices in international cricket.

3. SRI LANKA: Dialog Axiata PLC

Formerly known with the names such as MTN Networks and Dialog Telekom, the Dialog Axiata PLC is well known as the largest telecommunications service provider in Sri Lanka.

This has been such a long-term sponsorship deal with Sri Lanka since 2013. The Dialog Axiata PLC recently expanded its scope, which is not only limited to men’s and women’s cricket, but also at the domestic level.

Additionally, Dialog’s support contributes to great support in Sri Lanka, thereby highlighting the massive encouragement towards the nation’s athletes as well as the sports development.

4. BANGLADESH: Robi Axiata Limited

Ranked as the second-largest mobile network operator in Bangladesh after Grameenphone Ltd, Robs Axiata is back to sponsor the Bangladesh men’s cricket team.

The sponsorship deal signed with the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) for three and a half years was worth BDT 50 crore.

Earlier, Robi Axiata sponsored the men’s team between 2015 and 2018 before opting out. Later, the company came up with an alternative strategy to renew its commitment and provide its best sponsorship to the team once again.

5. AFGHANISTAN: Etisalat

Following an intense bidding process, the telecommunications company Etisalat successfully renewed its partnership in June 2024.

So, Etisalat will continue to sponsor Afghanistan for all international matches played at home and away. Additionally, the rights will be applicable not only for the domestic contests in 2025, but also for all tournaments organized by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and Asian Cricket Council (ACC).

6. UNITED ARAB EMIRATES: Virat or Bank Alfalah or Inverex Solar Energy

Having collaborated with a company called Virat as the main sponsor, other brands support the Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) for particular series.

For example, the 3-match T20I series in May 2025 against Bangladesh in Sharjah saw the UAE cricket team supported by different brands like Inverex Solar Energy and Bank Alfalah.

7. HONG KONG: Arivaa Sports and Sports Management outfit

China and Cricket Hong Kong (CHK) have multiple companies to sponsor the national team. However, the Sports Management outfit and Arivaa Sports declared their sponsorship deal a few days back, particularly for the upcoming Asia Cup 2025.

8. OMAN: Omantel

Known as the telecommunication giants in Oman, Omantel, as the leading internet service provider in the nation, has spread its wings into the sports industry by sponsoring the Oman men’s cricket team.

Also, additional measures are being taken to support the rising talents and develop cricket programs at the grassroots level.

Conclusion

Excluding India, the other seven teams will be participating in the Asia Cup 2025, having a main sponsor’s logo on their team jerseys.

With the shutdown of several betting apps, the BCCI has not only lost its core sponsor Dream11, but also faces the threat of losing power and millions of revenue.

Meanwhile, there are discussions that companies like Zerodha, Groww, Angel One, Tata, Reliance, Mahindra, Toyota, Adani Group, and several others might emerge as the top contenders to replace Dream11 for the lead sponsorship role. With less than 15 days left for the Asia Cup 2025 to commence, the BCCI is in a dilemma to find the top companies within a short span that could assist the Indian cricket team’s financial strength on a long-term basis.
